My name is Her Ladyship Tita the Wanderer, and I would like to welcome you to the Shire of Hartwood, and the SCA.  I am the current Senechale for the Shire of Hartwood.

Newcomers to the SCA are referred to the Chatelain. This is the person who is in charge of introducing you to the SCA with as little trauma as possible. The Chatelain can direct you to the people who specialize in the medieval things you are interested in. The Chatelain is also your resource for Society etiquette. As this office is currently unoccupied in our shire, please feel free to contact me with your questions!

The SCA focuses on recreating people from cultures between 600B.C and 1650A.D.  This gives you a lot of room in which to find something you like.
